Looking Ahead with Excitement

This year has brought incredible progress! Since the church fire four years ago, our board and volunteers have worked steadily behind the scenes, and we’re starting to see the results of their tireless efforts. Autumn revealed the meticulous restoration by skilled local craftspeople of the entrance door and stained-glass windows. With a $22,000 grant from ACO Port Hope to install a much-needed new roof and a $154,000 Trillium Foundation grant secured for interior restoration, it’s been a year of forward momentum and milestones achieved.

The interior restoration is now officially underway, so watch for updates throughout 2026. We’re looking forward with great excitement to opening our church doors to the community once again.
