Volunteer with us

The strength of Wesleyville Village comes from the people who share their time and skills. We are always ready to welcome new volunteers to our Fundraising, Communications, Properties, and Events Committees, as well as those interested in serving on our Board of Directors. Each role offers a meaningful way to contribute to our activities and help plan for the future of the village.

Wesleyville Heritage Village is situated on the Michi Saagig Anishinaabeg traditional territory covered by the Williams Treaties, specifically the Gunshot Treaty signed by the Mississauga First Nations of Alderville, Curve Lake, Hiawatha and Scugog Island. We express gratitude towards the Indigenous peoples who have and will continue to steward these lands and waters. We pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging. We dedicate ourselves to moving forward in the spirit of partnership, collaboration, and reconciliation, as we contemplate the possibilities that lie ahead. Our commitment is to listen, learn, and establish meaningful relationships with our Indigenous sector colleagues, and take actions that advance reconciliation. We do so by recognizing the past and working towards a shared future.
